1. Who we are
Gurukulam Global School, Plot No. 44, Near Ayodhya Nagar, MIDC, Jalgaon 425003, Maharashtra, is run by the Institute For Rural Development & Social Services (IRDSS), Jalgaon, registered 1987. For this website the school is the data fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

We do not use analytics cookies, advertising trackers or social media pixels. The site sets one session cookie needed for form security. It expires when you close the browser.
3. Children's data
The enquiry form asks for a child's name and date of birth only to tell you the eligible class. It is entered by a parent or guardian. We treat this as verifiable parental consent under section 9 of the DPDP Act. We never use children's data for advertising or profiling.
Photographs of students on this site are published only with written consent from parents, recorded per album. Ask us to take a photo down and we will do so within [seven] working days.
4. Who sees your data
- The admissions desk, the office and the Principal, through a password-protected admin area with an audit log.
- Our hosting provider in India, which stores the website and its database.
- Our email provider, which delivers the enquiry notification to the school.
- WhatsApp, only if you choose to message us there. WhatsApp's own privacy policy then applies.
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it with a government body only when the law requires, for example a CBSE or Education Department inspection.
5. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may ask us to show, correct or erase the personal data you gave us, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Write to info@gurukulamschool.in or call +91 70207 68641 during office hours. We reply within [30] days. If you are not satisfied you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India once it is operating.
6. Security
The site runs over HTTPS. Admin passwords are hashed with Argon2id, uploads are checked and re-encoded, and the database sits outside the web root. No system is perfect; if a breach affects your data we will tell you and the Board as the Act requires.
7. Links to other sites
Pages link to Google Maps, WhatsApp, MahaDBT and the Maharashtra RTE portal. Their policies apply on their sites, not ours.
8. Changes
We update this page when our practice changes and show the effective date at the top. Old versions are available from the office on request.
