Composition: Principal or Vice Principal (chair), one male and one female teacher, one male and one female student, one non-teaching staff member.

How to raise a complaint

Any child, parent or staff member can report a concern about child safety to the Principal in person, by phone or by email. The committee records the complaint the same day, informs the parents, and reports to the police or Childline where the law requires it. The child is never questioned in front of the alleged person.

Internal Complaints Committee (POSH)

Basis: Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act 2013; CBSE Circular 19/2017

Composition: Presiding officer (a senior woman employee), at least two staff members, one external member from an NGO or with legal knowledge.

How to raise a complaint

A woman employee may complain in writing to the Presiding Officer within three months of an incident. The committee completes its inquiry within 90 days and gives its report to the management, which acts within 60 days. The complainant may ask for interim relief.

How to raise a complaint

Parents and students may write to the Principal or use the enquiry form. The committee acknowledges within 3 working days and replies within 15 working days. If the reply does not settle the matter, it can be raised with the School Management Committee.

How to raise a complaint

Bullying is strictly prohibited inside the school campus, on transport and online. Any incident is reported to the class teacher or counsellor, recorded, and handled through graded sanctions: counselling, a warning, parent meeting, and suspension for repeat cases.

How to raise a complaint

The committee reviews building, fire, transport and playground safety each term and after any incident. Parents may raise safety concerns with the transport in-charge or the Principal at any time.
