NCERT curriculum and textbooks, taught slowly.
We use NCERT textbooks from Class 1 and arrange the years in the four stages of NEP 2020. The pace is set by understanding, not by the syllabus calendar.
Five plus three plus three plus four
NEP 2020 divides school into a foundational stage (three years of pre-primary plus Classes 1 and 2), a preparatory stage (Classes 3 to 5), a middle stage (Classes 6 to 8) and a secondary stage (Classes 9 to 12).
We run the first three stages now. Class 8 is the highest class in 2026-27. Classes 9 and 10 open from 2027-28.
Textbooks are NCERT throughout. Pre-primary follows a play-based programme built on the NCERT foundational framework. Assessment is continuous, with two unit tests, a mid-term and an annual examination each year.

Learning journey
Four stages, one campus
Preparatory
Classes 3 to 5
Reading for meaning, maths with reasons, Marathi and Hindi alongside English, and the first science projects.
Middle
Classes 6 to 8
Subject teachers, laboratory hours, debates and exhibitions. Study habits built for the board years ahead.
Secondary, opening 2027-28
Classes 9 and 10
Board preparation on the same campus, with the same teachers who have known each child for years.
Assessment and reporting

Examinations a year
Unit Exam 1 in July, mid-term in October, Unit Exam 2 in January, annual examination in March.
Open House meetings
Report cards are discussed face to face after each examination. Dates are on the academic calendar.
Written tests below Class 1
Pre-primary children are observed, not examined. Parents receive a short written note each term.
